Information on the processing of personal data for business partners and customers


KOVOP, spol. s r.o., Kněžpole, č. p. 110, 687 12, IČ: 25553925, DIČ: CZ25553925 (hereinafter referred to as “KOVOP“), as the data controller, hereby informs about the method and scope of processing personal data with regard to the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”).


The aim of this document is to provide you with information on what personal data we collect, how we handle it, from which sources we obtain it, for what purposes we use it, to whom we may provide it, and where you can obtain information about your personal data that we process.


What personal data do we process and how do we obtain it?


We process personal data about our business partners and customers in the following scope:

  • identification data: name and surname, IČO, DIČ,
  • contact details: residential address, delivery or other contact address, telephone, email address,
  • other personal data: bank account number, payment details, and other personal data arising from a specific contract or by law.


We primarily obtain personal data from you, especially when concluding a contract and during the contractual relationship.


How do we use your personal data?


We collect and process your personal data only for a specified purpose and use it mainly for:

  • concluding and fulfilling the contract and providing services,
  • communication with you,
  • informing about changes and news in our service offerings (legitimate interest),
  • fulfilling legal obligations,
  • accounting and tax purposes,
  • maintaining customer records.


Personal data for these activities is processed to the extent necessary to fulfill these activities and for the period necessary to achieve them or for the period directly stipulated by legal regulations. Afterward, personal data is deleted or anonymized.


To whom do we provide your personal data?


Personal data may be processed for the purposes described above not only by our company and its employees but also by other processors. The processors or recipients of personal data are in particular:

Minerva Česká republika (provider and administrator of the information system),

Trumpf (provider and administrator of the information system),

the company's tax advisor.


Personal data may be transferred to third parties based on a legal request, who have the legal authority to require the transfer of the relevant personal data.


What are your rights?


In connection with the processing of your personal data, you have:

  • the right to clear, transparent, and understandable information about how we use your personal data and what your rights are (this document also serves this purpose),
  • the right to access personal data and to be provided with additional information related to their processing by KOVOP,
  • the right to correct inaccurate and incomplete personal data,
  • the right to erase your personal data, especially if (a) they are no longer needed for further processing; (b) you have withdrawn your consent to their processing; (c) you have legitimately objected to their processing; (d) they have been processed unlawfully; or (e) they must be erased according to legal regulations,
  • the right to restrict the processing of your personal data if (a) you contest the accuracy of the personal data for a period enabling us to verify their accuracy; (b) the processing is unlawful; (c) we no longer need them, but you need the data for the establishment, exercise, or defence of your legal claims; or (d) you object to their processing pending the verification of whether our legitimate grounds override your interests,
  • the right to object to the processing of your personal data if we process them (a) for direct marketing purposes or (b) for our legitimate interests,
  • the right to obtain your personal data and transfer them to another service provider,
  • the right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data at any time,
  • the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection.


How do we protect your personal data?


To ensure the security and confidentiality of your personal data, which is very important to us, we use technical and organisational measures, especially to protect against unauthorised access to data and its misuse, and to ensure the security of our IT systems. Where appropriate, we use encryption to protect your data.
